TERRA FORMA maps + Critical Zone Observatories
This website is the result of cartographic research conducted as part of the TERRA FORMA Equipex + research program.
The maps draw from the book Terra Forma, Manuel de cartographies potentielles.
This website is structured in three parts. BEFORE EXPLORING provides a key understanding of the project with an introduction, the ethno-cartographies approach, and the map template that is used to map the observatories. START TO EXPLORE presents the maps and their sensors in three different contexts having specific attributes, namely Subterranean micro-lives, Life in the snow, and Soil breathing. A fourth section, Biogeotech entities, presents a map with the sensors developed as part of the TERRA FORMA scientific project. HOW IS EXPLORING outlines the methodologies used to draw the maps and provides the pdf documents with field data (Fieldworks) and Workshops undertaken at the three observatories.
